Where are you based?
I'm based in the Adelaide Hills. Doula services are offered within a 20km radius, with travel fees up to 25km beyond that. I don't service further than 25km from Stirling.
What does a doula bring to my birth?
Calming, continuous support during labour, birth, and postpartum. Around 1 in 3 women leave their birth experience with trauma — my goal is to help you feel positive and empowered afterwards, looking back on your birth with joy and pride. (See the doula page for the full picture.)
My partner isn't on board — how can I convince him you're worth it?
I support both of you. I'm not here to replace your partner's role — I'm here to help them step up, with guidance on how to create a calmer, more empowering experience for you both. Happy to share an article that helps explain it from a partner's perspective.
In what capacity can I hire you?
I offer customisable packages including virtual support if you're not local. I'm experienced in all aspects of pregnancy, labour, and postpartum — let's chat about what fits your family.
Do you decide my birth plan?
No. My role is to empower your decision-making and make sure your choices are informed and respected. Your birth is your birth.
Can I still use your support if I want pain relief, a caesarean, or interventions?
Absolutely. I support all client choices including pain relief, caesarean, or interventions. Birth is easy to talk about in hindsight, but in the moment, things can unfold differently — I'll be there with you whatever the road looks like.
